Meeting Minutes Sep 15, 2012

EAA Chapter 1167

New Business:

• Doug is still wanting some project materials for students. Wayne offered his extra MiniMax kit parts. See Doug.
• Dennis has put a link on our Chapter website to several resources listing pilot instructors in our area.
• Cookout was scheduled for the Oct 20th at the first hangar, Conway Airport after our meeting at 10 a.m. but was cancelled.
• Hanger Meeting last month in Shallotte was a success with lots of people attending.
• Chapter elections are coming up at the October meeting. This is important because we have a need for President and Secretary. Please think about volunteering.
• Wayne talked to a person at Triple Tree about how to manage/build Chapters. Greg Heller offered to help with this project. This will be brought up again in the near future as our Chapter strives to change our meeting format.
• Dennis advised that we should purchase our domain name for at least 5 years to save money.
• As a reminder, everybody's info is posted on our website at http://eaa1167.org/members_area/. See Dennis for login info.
• Doug volunteered his daughter for President.
• See Doug for CAP information and how to save money getting your pilots license and flight time.
• We need volunteers for the upcoming Chapter Fall Fly-in.

Old Business:

• We still owe Gene Baker for the last BBQ; approximately $300.
