EAA Chapter 1167

Treasurer Report:

Checking: 19 Nov balance was $1460.87. 29 Nov deposited $78.84. 2 Dec, paid $69.12 for the plaque presented at the Christmas party. 5 Jan, we paid our EAA national dues of $275.00. 12 Jan deposited $22.35. As of 21 Jan, balance is $1217.94.
Petty Cash: 19 Nov balance was $25.17. Donuts that day were $8.83. As of 21 Jan, balance is $16.34.

New Business:

Today's meeting was hosted by Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) at MYR airport.
We may be getting nametags for Chapter members made by a EAA Chapter. Bill is working on this.
Bill is requesting input on what direction the Chapter members would like the Chapter to go.
Ron suggests we arrange a tour of the MYR Control Tower.
A $5 introductory membership was suggested for students. It was voted on and approved by the membership subject to the approval of National EAA because there will likely be no national EAA membership.
Ron and Dennis have been tasked to find a possible replacement date for the fall fly-in.
Hardee Airpark's breakfast club fly-in is coming up on Sunday, April 15th. (see http://www.flyscbc.com)
Green Sea's breakfast club fly-in is coming up on Sunday, May 20th. (see http://www.flyscbc.com)
The Piggly Wiggly/Pee Dee Air Show is on May 19 and the 20th in Florence. No static displays, just air show.

Old Business:

Duane asked if there was interest in a hangar talk weekend each month.
Planning for spring fly-in begins now.
This year's dues are due. Contact Duane. Those that just paid can prorate their dues at $1.67 per month.
