EAA Chapter 1167 - Green Sea Meeting

Treasurer Report:

· Checking: 20 June balance was $159.10. 12 Jul paid Horry Electric $43.52. 14 Aug paid Horry Electric $47.50. 15 Aug balance is $59.07.

• Petty Cash: 20 June balance was $45.83. 20 June kitty produced $25. 12 Aug soda fund $20. 12 Aug bought drinks $19.36. 13 Aug bought battery for mower $23.59. 15 Aug balance is $47.88.

New Business:

• Duane wants to set out things for sale during the fly-in.
• Members voted to sell the donated RC aircraft. Dennis to send out a letter to Chapter members giving them the first opportunity to buy them. The Chapter will also sell the radial arm saw as it is excess to the Chapter's needs.
• Duane said we need to work on the taxiway before the fly-in in Nov and is looking for volunteers to help.
• We found a new DAR: Cape Fear Airworks out of Brunswick County Airport.
• Need to repaint the letters on the roof.
• Duane wants to lime a circle around both of the windsocks.
• Wayne advises that he is out at the Green Sea building almost every Thursday and Friday if anyone wants to come out.
• Gene Baker volunteered again to cook at the next Fly-in like he did last year. Like last November, the members can bring some dishes and the Chapter will provide the drinks. This years fly-in will be on Nov 6th.
