Meeting Minutes January 19, 2008

EAA Chapter 1167

Treasurer's Report:

• Bank checking account: As of the 17th of November, 2007, balance was $1432.74. On November 19th, we paid Falcon Insurance $628.00. On December 11th, we paid Horry Electric $44.93. On December 15th, we paid the 10th annual lease payment to Earl Shaw, $300. December 31st, deposited $200 in memorial donations for Tom Sullivan. Dec 31, two members and one new members dues, $150 deposited. The same day I also deposited $5 donation from Tom for books. Jan 2008 paid EAA headquarters our annual renewal and insurance fee of $321.00. Jan 11th, I paid Horry Electric $87.08 and also Horry County taxes $173.65 for building taxes. As of January 19, balance in the checking account is $233.08.
• Petty Cash: Nov 17th, 2007 we had $14.21 petty cash on hand. Nov 17th^th, donuts cost $10.65. The kiddy produced $56. On Jan 17, $59.56 cash on hand. We also have six 41 cent postal stamps.

New Business:

• Spring fly-in at Lumberton is coming up on May 16, 17, and 18th. See http://www.mafsac.com for more information. Our POC is Danny Freeman, e-mail address: mafsacboss@yahoo.com. (Note: the 3rd Saturday in May is May 17th.)
• Falcon insurance confirmed our insurance. Dennis put on the website a memorial for Tom. He asked that everyone review their e-mail address.
• Wayne has been signed up for technical advisor with the EAA.
• Jim Morvatz was our guest this day.
• Wayne and Dennis' aircraft were inspected by a DAR (air worthiness inspections) and are now 'real' airplanes.
• Larry added his $50 donation to the Chapter in memory of Tom.

Old Business:

• Our Breakfast fly-in date next year will be the first Sunday in May - May 4, 2008.
