New Business:
Wayne advises that the roof is leaking. After the meeting, Dennis went and got several of the special bolts with washers and gave them to Wayne at the Chapter building.
Old business:
The Lumberton Fly-in is coming up on May 18, 19, and 20. Wayne and Duane volunteered to be in charge of the event for our Chapter. The contact point at Lumberton is Danny Freeman and his telephone number is (910) 740-6751 and his e-mail address is mafsacboss@yahoo.com. Wayne is to call Danny Freeman and check on this year’s events. Several people said they would be there to help out. Most people wanted chili last year so we might want to consider it this year. Charles brought up that we need to make some signs for the other side that points people to the ultralight side.
The Breakfast Club fly in is also in May, on Sunday, the 6th.
Other:
Jim brought up that the garden tractors are in bad shape. The general consensus was that we would bring our own lawn mowers until the Chapter decides if and when to buy a garden tractor.
George’s other Chapter (EAA 939?) meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. at the 3rd big hangar at the Brunswick County Airport (SUT). Their May meeting will be at the Lumberton fly-in.
